Creating a dubbed version of your video with Pipio is quick and easy! Just follow these steps:
Log in to your account and click on the “Create” button on your Dashboard.
From the available options, select “Dub Video”.
Upload the video file you wish to dub. Accepted formats include MP4, MOV, and WebM. The maximum file size is 50GB. Ensure your video meets the following requirements:
Single Person: The video should primarily feature one person to ensure optimal dubbing quality.
Limited Background Noise: Minimize background music and noise, as these can affect the audio quality.
Resolution: The video must be in 1080p.
Duration: The video should be between 1 minute and 15 minutes long.
Check the box to certify that your video meets the outlined requirements.
After the upload completes, the estimated credit cost will be displayed. This is based on the video length, with 1 minute of content equating to 1 credit. Click “Next” to proceed.
Choose the "Source Language", which is the original language of the video. Then, select the "Target Language", the language you want the video to be dubbed into. You can find a list of all supported languages for video dubbing requests here: Supported Languages and Accents.
If you’d like to receive an email notification when the video is ready, check the box under “Notification”. Click “Next”.
Wait for the transcript to be generated.
Note: If you need to edit the text or adjust the transcript, a Team plan is required.
Once the transcription and translation process is complete, if you have access to the Edit Translation feature, make the necessary updates and click the “Export” button at the top right of your Dashboard.
You will be redirected to your Dashboard > Projects. From there, when the dubbed video is ready, click “Actions” > “Download” to save your dubbed video and share it on the platform(s) of your choosing.
