Changing your avatar’s voice can greatly enhance your virtual experience. Here’s a comprehensive guide to changing your avatar’s voice using two simple methods.

Method 1: Using the Main Menu

  1. Locate the main navigation menu on the left side of your screen. Click on the Voices option to open the voice settings.

  2. You will be presented with two categories: Stock Voices and Custom Voices.

    • Stock Voices: These are pre-installed voices available on the platform.

    • Custom Voices: You can use your own voice through our Voice Cloning feature, which is currently available exclusively with the purchase of a Custom Avatar – Express Avatar and Studio Avatar.

  3. Scroll through the available options in either category. Once you’ve found a voice you like, click on it and your avatar’s voice will be updated immediately.

Method 2: From the Script Editor

  1. In the top right corner of the script editor, look for the “Voiced by” label. Click on this label to open the Voices menu directly within the script editor.

  2. Similar to the first method, browse through the Stock Voices and Custom Voices.

  3. Scroll through the available options in either category. Once you’ve found a voice you like, click on it and your avatar’s voice will be updated immediately.

When working with a voice selection tool, it’s important to understand how you can narrow down your options to find the perfect voice for your project. Here’s a breakdown of the filtering options:

  1. Language: This filter allows you to choose voices based on the language they speak. This is particularly useful if you need a voiceover in a specific language or dialect to cater to a particular audience. For example, you might select English for a global audience or Spanish for a Latin American market.

  2. Gender (Male, Female): Select a voice by gender to match the tone and perception you want to convey.

  3. Style (Narration, Conversational, Promotional, Character):

    1. Narration: Steady and clear for informative content.

    2. Conversational: Relaxed and friendly, like a casual chat.

    3. Promotional: Engaging and dynamic for marketing.

    4. Character: Unique and expressive for animated roles.

To hear a sample of a voice before making your selection, simply click on the play icon next to the voice option. This allows you to listen to a brief preview, giving you an idea of the voice’s tone, style, and suitability for your project. It’s a quick and easy way to ensure that the voice matches your specific needs before finalizing your choice.

If you find a voice that you like and want to save it for future use, simply click the heart icon next to it. This will add the voice to the top of the list, making it easy to find and select for future projects.

By following these steps, you can easily customize your avatar’s voice to suit your needs and create a more engaging virtual experience.
